How to Find Your USDT Wallet Address
Updated
Short answer: In the KWIQ app, open your USDT wallet and choose the option to deposit or receive. The app shows your USDT address together with its network. Copy both and share them with whoever is sending you USDT.
A USDT address is like an account number for receiving USDT. Each app shows it slightly differently, but the steps are similar.
In the KWIQ app
- Open KWIQ and go to your USDT wallet.
- Choose the option to deposit or receive.
- Note the network shown with the address.
- Tap to copy the address.
Send both the address and the network to the person paying you. When the USDT arrives you can sell it for naira and withdraw to your bank.
In other apps
- Exchanges (Binance, Bybit, OKX and others): go to your wallet or assets, choose Deposit, pick USDT and the network, then copy the address.
- Self-custody wallets (Trust Wallet, MetaMask and others): tap Receive, choose USDT on the right network and copy the address.
Moving USDT from one of these to your bank? See Binance to Nigerian bank, Bybit to Nigerian bank or all exchanges and wallets.
Sharing your address safely
- Copy and paste, never retype. Check the first and last few characters after pasting.
- Always include the network. BEP20 and ERC20 addresses look the same, so the address alone isn't enough. See USDT networks explained.
- Beware of clipboard malware: if a pasted address looks different from the one you copied, stop.
- Never share secrets. Your address is safe to share; passwords, codes and recovery phrases are not.
