Target rates today
Target rates depend on the card’s country, type and value, and change during the day. The KWIQ app shows the rate for your exact card before you trade, and the gift card rate calculator shows how the value is worked out.
About the Target gift card
Target gift cards are spent at the US retailer’s stores and on Target.com. Target also sells Visa gift cards, which are a different card.
What affects your Target rate
- Country of issue: a USA card and a UK card of the same brand are rated differently.
- Physical card or e-code: physical cards and digital codes usually have different rates.
- Card value: many cards are rated in bands, for example $100–$500, so the amount matters.
- Receipt: for physical cards, having the purchase receipt can matter.
- Demand: rates follow how easily each card can be resold, and move with the naira exchange rate.
Before you sell
- Make sure you choose the right type: a Target store card and a Visa card bought at Target are not the same.
- Only sell cards you obtained legitimately. Cards bought with stolen payment details get blocked.
- Don’t redeem the card or add it to an account before you sell: a redeemed card has no value left to sell.
- Check the balance only on the brand’s own website or app, never on a “balance checker” link someone sends you.
- Share the card’s code only inside the KWIQ app. KWIQ will never ask for a code, password, PIN or one-time code by DM, email or social media.
