USDT transaction checker

Someone says they’ve sent USDT? Paste the transaction ID to see, from the blockchain itself, whether it moved real USDT from Tether’s official contract, how much, to which address, and whether it’s confirmed. It checks TRON (TRC20), BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) and Ethereum (ERC20).

Transaction IDs are public. We look them up on TRON, BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum and don’t store them.

How to use it

  1. Step 1

    Get the transaction ID

Ask the sender for the TXID or hash, not a screenshot. It’s in their withdrawal or activity history.

  2. Step 2

    Paste it

Paste the ID above. Add your receiving address too, to check the USDT went to you.

  3. Step 3

    Read the result

Check it says real USDT, the amount is right, the address matches and it’s confirmed.

What the result tells you

  • Real USDT: the token came from Tether’s official contract on that network. Tokens that only call themselves USDT are flagged.
  • Amount, from and to: how much moved and between which addresses. If you entered your address, it tells you whether it matches.
  • Confirmed, pending or failed: a pending transfer isn’t final yet, and a failed one moved nothing.
  • Explorer link: opens the same transaction on Tronscan, BscScan or Etherscan.

The official USDT contracts

Fake tokens can copy USDT’s name and logo, but not its contract address. These are Tether’s official contracts:

Before you release goods, a card code or naira

  • Never accept a screenshot, a forwarded "receipt" or an explorer link someone sends you as proof. Check the ID yourself.
  • Wait until the transfer is confirmed, and check the amount and the receiving address.
  • Be suspicious of pressure to release quickly, and of "overpayments" that need refunding in naira.
  • Read how the flash USDT scam and fake credit alerts work.

If your USDT hasn’t arrived

If the checker shows the transfer confirmed to your KWIQ deposit address on the right network, but your balance hasn’t changed after a while, contact KWIQ support in the app with the transaction ID. If it went on a different network or to a different address, read USDT not showing in your wallet and what a TXID is.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to paste a transaction ID here?

Yes. Transaction IDs are public: anyone can look them up on a block explorer, and they can’t be used to move money. We look the ID up on public blockchain nodes and don’t store it.

Why does it say “not real USDT”?

The token in that transaction doesn’t come from Tether’s official contract on that network. It may be named USDT, but it can’t be sold for naira on KWIQ or any legitimate platform.

Why can’t it find my transaction?

Check you copied the whole ID. Very new transfers may take a minute to appear, and transfers between two accounts on the same exchange happen inside the exchange, so they have no transaction ID.

Which networks does it check?

TRON (TRC20), BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) and Ethereum (ERC20), the networks most USDT sent to Nigeria travels on.
